Calmcore ("we", "us") provides software and related services. This policy describes how we handle information on this website and within our Chrome extension.

Data we collect

Website: Access through our infrastructure (for example, Cloudflare) may generate technical logs that include IP addresses and browser types. We use these solely for security, reliability, and abuse prevention, and they are automatically deleted within about 30 days. We do not link these logs to personal identifiers or build profiles.
Chrome Extension: The extension processes minimal data locally in your browser (such as how long a tab stays active) to provide its reminder features. This information never leaves your device and does not track browsing content, visited URLs, or personal identifiers. No personal data is sent to our servers without your explicit consent.
Payments: If Calmcore introduces paid features in the future, payments will be processed by LemonSqueezy, who may share minimal data (e.g., email, license information) with us. We do not receive or store card numbers.
Support: If you email us, we use your address only to respond to your inquiry. It will not be used for marketing or shared with others.

How we use data

Provide and improve our software and services.

Analyze aggregated, non-identifiable usage trends to improve overall usability.

Cookies and Analytics

We do not use advertising cookies. We may use simple, privacy-first analytics (like Cloudflare Web Analytics) on some pages to understand aggregated usage. These tools do not use cookies or track individuals. If we introduce or change analytics providers, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

Hosting and CDN

Chrome Extension Specific

Our Chrome extension will be designed with privacy in mind:

All data processing happens locally in your browser whenever possible.
We do not track your browsing history or the content you view.
Any technical diagnostics that reach our servers (for example, service worker error reports) are limited to non-personal information needed to keep the service stable.
If optional data collection features are introduced, you will be able to disable them at any time through the extension settings.

Any technical data sent to our servers (for example, through Cloudflare access logs or service worker diagnostics) may include IP addresses and browser types for security and reliability purposes. This data is processed only to maintain the system and prevent abuse, is not linked to personal identifiers, and is automatically deleted within about 30 days. We do not collect or use such information to identify individuals, and we do not create personal profiles.

Data retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Website logs are typically retained for 30 days. Extension data, if any, will be retained according to the same principle.

Security

Payments, if introduced, are handled by external providers. We never store cardholder data. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect all collected information. Our Chrome extension uses secure communication protocols and minimal data collection practices.
